Handling
Workshop Handling
Handling is facilitated by 2 (60T’s each) overhead cranes in the longer bay area and 4 full factory length over head crane lines (12.5T’s each) with a 10m - hook height. To supplement the overhead crane we have 20 boom hoists with 1 Tonne capacity located throughout the workshop.
Yard Handling
Our new paint shop has the capacity to lift up a 120T projects and will be able to carry objects between our workshop and paint shop using the overhead cranes. We also have a 50T jinker, 50T, 8T, and 6T mobile cranes to help move the projects around the yard.

S & L started with 2 Welders, Jaime Lorenzo and Luis Santos, who are now the company directors of the business. For 32 years Jaime and Luis have used there welding experience into hiring expert welders and using the best equipment to give their customers the best quality welds in the market. S & L has over 400 welding procedures, which have all been used for the various Projects that we have done over the 32 years.
Sandblasting
S & L is committed to install a Sandblasting (Grit blasting) chamber and has installed a paint shop. S & L are currently in the process of constructing a blasting chamber, which is situated in front of the paint shop to make the process quicker and easier. With the new facilities in place, S & L can produce top quality Finishing surfaces.
Painting
S & L has been in the painting business for 15 years. We have six qualified tradesmen. With the co-operation and Supervision of Painting Suppliers such as Dulux & Akzo Nobel, S & L has delivered many high profile painting services with extended warranties.
