S&L Steel have over 400 welding procedures which have all been used for a variety of projects that have been completed.

Operations Process

Workshop

Fabrication is facilitated by two sixty tonne overhead cranes in the workshop, they can transfer product between the fabrication, paint-shop and despatch areas. To complement the workshop, there are six full factory length overhead cranes (12.5T's each) with a 10m - hook height. To supplement the overhead crane we have 20 boom hoists with 1 Tonne capacity located throughout the workshop. S+L Steel are currently pre-qualified by the RMS for specialist category S2

Yard

With over 6,000m² of open yard space, we can accommodate a number of large projects at any given time. We can conduct trial assemblies within our yard if required.

Surface Treatment

With modern facilities for blasting and painting and being PCCP Accredited allows S&L Steel to complete a quality finished product every time for all our customers.
